R20J2 JEBOK WORK JACKET IN BLUE SUMI INK DENIM
The Jabok is a work jacket suitable for industry. It has a wide cut, with generous sleeves, and action pleats at the back for ease of movement. Wide patch pockets with flap closures, double chest pockets — one external, one internal. Double-stitched welted seams, internal cuff facings, and a pointed collar. The fabric is a yarn–dyed denim, woven in Hiroshima, bio–washed, then overdyed by hand in Okayama using a combination of binchotan charcoal and sumi (ink). Ubame Oak is carbonised over several days to produce high–purity binchotan, known for its antibacterial and neutralising qualities, then ground into natural pigment. Combined with sumi, it imparts subtle tonal variation that evolves with washing and wear. Dyed at a small–scale mill of just two people, colour consistency is achieved through careful hand and eye.Â
- 100% cotton.
- Gentle machine wash up to 30°C. Line dry in shade.
- Made in Japan.Â
